Measuring the X Factor

Do you have the right people in the right jobs? Are your employees engaged? Do you have a successful on-boarding process? Is succession planning effective in your organization? If you answered no to any of these questions, you will want to attend this session!

We will discuss the value of “best in class” hiring processes, the cost of a bad hire and what it means to your organization if your employees are actively disengaged, plus current talent demographics.

There are many tools and talent development assessments to select, on-board, coach and develop your employees to reach their full potential. This session will share two of them with you. The first one is the PXT Select™ assessment. It provides insight into a candidate’s or employee’s cognitive abilities, behavioral traits, and interests, including tips about the candidate’s or employee’s potential job fit for a new hire, coaching or succession planning for an employee, and relevant job-specific interview and coaching questions. The second one is the Korn Ferry Talent Hub.  It contains a series of tools and reports that can help you hire and align talent to competencies.  It can generate a variety of reports and profiles that show key capabilities that can help someone do well in a role, organization, or environment.  It can also show broader capabilities related to success at work that are aligned to a competency model.

Objectives:

  • Understand the cost of a poor hiring decision
  • Learn when/why/who would use hiring assessments
  • Discover talent acquisition and development assessment tools that can be used to find the best fit for your roles
  • Learn how assessments can be a valuable addition to your overall talent strategy

One lucky attendee will win a PXT Select assessment valued at $295.00!  PXT Select™ is a registered trademark of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. All rights reserved.
